You think you'll get straight into all the new year 'resolution' stuff, and then you just spent the first 2 weeks of the new year clearing shit out and getting into the game.

This is a metaphor for the way progress is made and the way people's year is actually gonna go. We all do have the best intentions of these great things that we want to do. We always think about the very clean output of what we want, like today i was thinking about setting up a Youtube Channel for my yoga videos to kick off the year, and life does not offer you the great outcomes in neat or whole packages. It comes with all the tasks, and things you have to do before you reach the goal. That's why people always think the outcome always comes slower than it should be( at least i do).

So if I decided to make youtube videos, 'Where do I shoot?' 'What kind of poses I am going to do?''How long the videos are going to be?' "Can I still use my phone to shoot or I need a camera?' many more questions to come.

All these things that aren't even the thing itself that you have to do, and there is a lot of stuff around the thing itself.

We see everyone's version of their new year, and appears to be 'They are already working out.' 'They are already ticking their to-do list.' We see people's Instagrams, it's always so clean-packed the output with a bow on it, and everyone's life looks just so clean and simple. Meanwhile, progress is super messy.

We are in the 3rd week of Jan, I bet most people might have had a false start-just like me. I wanted to start clean and fresh on 1st Jan and it just did not work out that way. It's frustrating. I spent the first 2 weeks slowly figuring out what I am going to do with myself this year and I'm still thinking about it. Finally got my website setup(thanks for visiting my page), this happened later than i thought, but still glad i got it done, as long as i started doing it.

I think we need to start to change the view: everyday is 1st JAN, everyday is the first day of our new year. So forget about what the calendar tells you, when is your January the first?

It's TODAY, it's NOW. It's everyday you wake up, it's the first day of our new year.

Not to compare yourself with everyone else, just get off social media for a bit. Do things on your own pace, your own journey, your own race. You are starting your Jan First today, Now!
